What is Coats disease?

Coats disease is a rare disease characterized by abnormal development of the retinal vessels.
What is Coats disease?

It usually affects only one eye, primarily affecting young males. Symptoms appear early, with a peak incidence between the ages of 6 and 8. Early symptoms typically include vision loss, strabismus, or a white mass in the pupil behind the lens.
