Hospital de Loulé is a renovated and fully equipped hospital, recognised in the Algarve for providing high-quality healthcare services. With a clinical staff made up of highly regarded professionals, Hospital de Loulé — formerly Hospital da Misericórdia — offers the community the most advanced technical and scientific resources available, as well as state-of-the-art equipment in terms of technological quality.

Hospital de Loulé provides consultations in more than 30 clinical specialties, integrating and bringing together a wide range of medical and surgical areas. It also includes Clinical Analysis, an Imaging Centre, Dentistry, a Digestive Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Centre, Surgery, Inpatient Care and a 24-hour Emergency and Urgent Care Service.

The hospital operates in close coordination with its five satellite clinics — Clínica O Seu Médico de Família, Centro Clínico de Almancil, Clínica Internacional de Olhão, Clínica do Plaza (Tavira) and Clínica Internacional de Vilamoura — providing them with full hospital continuity of care support whenever required.

On 31 July 2025, the Luz Saúde Group acquired a stake in Hospital de Loulé. In the near future, it will be renamed Hospital da Luz Loulé, and its five clinics will be renamed respectively Hospital da Luz Clínica Duarte Pacheco, Hospital da Luz Clínica de Almancil, Hospital da Luz Clínica de Olhão, Hospital da Luz Clínica de Tavira and Hospital da Luz Clínica de Vilamoura.
